HaTS produced a batch of 66 high quality custom cycling jerseys for this event. All proceeds raised came directly to HaTS. We have just one size XL left !

These HaTS cycling Jerseys were very generously sponsored by MGF (Trench Construction Systems) Ltd and Freedom Financial Planning.

Our riders arrived at the velodrome, registered, changed and picked up their track bikes, whilst the British University championships finished on the track. As soon as the track was free, a group of our “expert” riders set off on their 2 hour ride, whilst the 30 novices (two groups of 15) received instruction from National Cycling coaches. Once briefed, the novices rode the track, initially gentle familiarity laps, more coaching, then faster laps and finally riding high on the “blue line” during their shared 70 minute slot (a total of 35 mins of riding for each novice group). The 70 minute novice session was followed by a 50 minute intermediate session.

HaTS were delighted to secure one of only a very few dedicated track slots, for our

supporters to ride the famous Velodrome boards. 57 HaTS riders took to the boards, many wearing the bespoke HaTS cycling jerseys produced for the event. The event was a sell-out!

HaTS has had unanimously positive feedback on this event -  through emails, texts, discussions and calls. The event has raised around £2000 for HaTS and the fundraising will go to support the HTU patients and their carers.

We are arranging a follow up on 30th January 2016 6-8pm. If you would like to participate, please drop us an email and (1) we will notify you of details if/when we arrange the follow up (2) you will get preference for a place - as there is a limit to the number of riders allowed on track
